One Dead, Three Injured in Early Morning Daytona Beach Shooting

One person is dead and three others were injured following a shooting in the 200 block of Ontario Court early Sunday morning.

Daytona Beach Police Department officers responded to reports of a person shot and multiple gunshots in the area at approximately 3:30 a.m. Upon arrival, they located one victim who had succumbed to a gunshot wound despite life-saving efforts.

Shortly after, authorities were notified that three additional victims had arrived at a local hospital with gunshot wounds. Two of these victims are in critical but stable condition and receiving medical treatment. The third victim has been treated and released.

Preliminary investigation suggests all four victims were involved in the same incident, which investigators believe to be isolated with no ongoing threat to the community.
