Felon and Teenager Arrested After Standoff Linked to Armed Robbery and Shooting in Naples

A convicted felon and a 17-year-old were arrested Monday following a standoff with deputies at a Naples apartment complex and are now implicated in a recent armed robbery and a February shooting.

Christian Jeremy Wolf, 22, and Howard Wesley Green III, 17, both of Naples, face multiple felony charges as a result of the incidents.

“This was terrific teamwork in action,” said Sheriff Kevin Rambosk. “These individuals committed violent crimes in our community, and thanks to a coordinated effort by multiple bureaus within our agency, they are now in custody and will be held accountable.”

Deputies located Wolf and Green at Whistler’s Green apartments off Green Boulevard after observing them entering a vehicle. Wolf was wanted in connection with a Feb. 8 shooting in Golden Gate Estates, while Green had three active felony warrants.

Green was apprehended on the warrants. Wolf attempted to flee on foot but was later taken into custody following a brief standoff on the roof of an apartment building.

A search of the vehicle yielded a firearm, 43 grams of oxycodone (a trafficking amount), and $1,230 in cash, all reportedly linked to Wolf. Investigators also allege that Wolf damaged a water pipe at the apartment complex, causing an estimated $10,000 to $20,000 in damages.

In connection with Monday’s events, Wolf is charged with fleeing and eluding, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, trafficking in oxycodone, resisting arrest without violence, and criminal mischief over $1,000.

Following interviews with detectives, both Wolf and Green were additionally charged with armed burglary, armed robbery, and grand theft related to an armed robbery that occurred last Thursday in Golden Gate Estates. According to detectives, Green allegedly pulled a gun on a juvenile victim and stole jewelry and cash, while Wolf acted as the getaway driver.

Furthermore, Wolf faces an aggravated battery with a firearm charge in connection with the February shooting. Detectives say he shot an 18-year-old male twice in the back as the victim was leaving a house party on 13th Street Northwest. The victim was airlifted to a Fort Myers hospital for surgery and is currently recovering at home in good condition, although he reportedly requires another surgery to remove a bullet still lodged in his back.
