Three Juveniles Arrested in Connection with Tallahassee Auto Burglaries

The Tallahassee Police Department has arrested three teenagers in connection with a series of auto burglaries at two apartment complexes on West Pensacola Street.

On September 30, 2025, officers responded to reports of multiple vehicle break-ins at the 1701 and 1800 blocks of West Pensacola Street. Detectives from TPD’s Burglary and Auto Crimes Unit linked the cases and identified several teens as suspects. Stolen items included credit and debit cards, which provided a critical lead when one of the cards was used for purchases shortly after the burglaries.

With assistance from the Community Oriented Policing and Problem-Solving Squad and the Juvenile Services Unit, all three suspects were taken into custody on October 9, 2025.

The three were identified as 15-year-old Demarion Brown, 14-year-old Keiton Muhammad and 16-year-old Raquez Sneed.

TPD warns residents that auto burglaries are often opportunistic crimes, frequently targeting unlocked vehicles. Some thefts have escalated when firearms left inside vehicles were stolen. Authorities remind the public to lock cars, remove valuables, and never leave firearms unsecured to reduce risk and prevent crimes from escalating.
