Tallahassee Man Charged with Child Pornography, Exploitation After Joint Investigation

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.—A joint operation by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEAT) Unit and the Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) resulted in the arrest of a man facing numerous felony charges related to child exploitation.

On Friday, October 10th, investigators executed a search warrant at a business in the 1700 block of Thomasville Road following an investigation into the possession and distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).

Detectives identified Perry Crane Walker, 44, as a suspect who communicated with two 14-year-old victims through an online chat platform. The investigation determined that Walker knowingly solicited explicit images from the juveniles, sent obscene material to them, and paid them for the images. Three cell phones and other electronic devices were seized from the property.

Walker is facing multiple charges, including:

  • Eight counts of Possession of Child Pornography
  • Six counts of Directing or Promoting a Sexual Act by a Child
  • Two counts of Distribution of Obscene Material to a Minor
  • One count of Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communications Device

The LCSO HEAT Unit affirmed its commitment to protecting vulnerable populations and pursuing those who exploit children online.
