Jacksonville Drug House Near Panama Park Raided, Two Arrested After Fentanyl, Cocaine Seized

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two people face multiple felony charges after Jacksonville sheriff’s investigators raided a suspected drug house about a block from Panama Park and seized fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, guns and nearly $10,000 in cash.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said its Narcotics Unit began investigating the home on East 61st Street in July after detectives received information that methamphetamine and cocaine were being sold from the property.

On Sept. 3, narcotics detectives and the JSO SWAT Team executed a search warrant at the home.

Investigators reported seizing:

  • 29.6 grams of fentanyl, which JSO estimated could represent nearly 15,000 potentially fatal doses
  • 225.1 grams of powder cocaine
  • 184 grams of methamphetamine
  • 51.4 grams of crack cocaine
  • 621.8 grams of marijuana
  • Four handguns and two rifles
  • Nearly $10,000 in cash

Police arrested Joe Darryl Holmes, 37, whom JSO identified as a convicted felon, on 13 felony charges. Chelsea Dillaberry, 26, was arrested on three felony charges.

JSO did not specify the individual charges against Holmes and Dillaberry in its announcement.

The investigation remains active.
