The heat wave is intensifying with hotter temps and more humidity. Inland areas are under a heat advisory today from 11am-7pm for feels like temps reaching 108. There is a higher risk for rip currents today.
Today will be dry for most with only isolated storms west of the US 301 corridor. Tomorrow scattered showers may develop closer to inland portions of the St. Johns river.
No end to the hot air and humidity. We will likely have dangerous heat advisories every day probably until Thursday next week.
The stickier air will increase afternoon inland storms Monday and during Independence Day afternoon.
Scattered showers on the Fourth of July will fade away during the evening for fireworks displays.
