Local families whose children might need new shoes for the fast-approaching school year can now register for the Kicks for the Kids giveaway August 3-5 at The Bethel Church located at 215 Bethel Baptist Street.

New sneakers for children in Kindergarten to 12th grade can still be donated at Channel 4-News4JAX and the local businesses listed below through July 31.
This Positively JAX initiative has helped collect over 15,600 pairs of shoes for local children in need since 2014.
Our drop-off locations this year are WJXT-Channel 4, Closets By Design, 121 Financial Credit Union branches, 1st Place Sports locations, Meow and Barks Boutique, Fragrant Body Oilz, 1Foxy Lady Cafe, the Cake Bar, JTA Headquarters and McGowan’s Heating and Air Conditioning.
