Milder weekend weather

The early evening will be cloudy as some light rain showers or sprinkles may try and develop. Any rain would be brief before the skies clear toward sunrise. The exception would be for coastal areas where fog could thicken toward early morning.

Saturday brings a warm SSE flow boosting temps into the upper 70s before the window on the mild weather starts to close with Sunday’s cold front.

Sunday is the one day for rainfall this weekend and an isolated severe storm is possible when the rain moves in late afternoon and evening.

You will have a dry morning but it will be breezy with winds gusting to 20-30 mph.

A cold snap moves in quickly behind the front Sunday night sending afternoon highs in the 70s down into the upper 30s and low 40s in SE GA and into the low to mid 40s around JAX by sunrise Monday.

That sets the stage for a cold week with highs in the 50s & 60s.
