A woman was shot, and the bullet grazed her head, while she was driving on Kona Avenue in the Woodland Acres area Monday, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
There was a male passenger in the car with her. He was not injured, according to police.
JSO said multiple shots were fired through the fence of an apartment complex, and toward the road around 12:15 a.m. Monday.
The woman, who doesn’t live in the area, drove herself to the hospital, police said. She has non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was wearing all black and was on foot, according to JSO.
