The north and southbound lanes on the Mathews Bridge are closed Friday night due to a car fire, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said around 7:45 p.m.
It’s unclear how long the bridge will be closed.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
