Robyn shared the pictures after hearing of Keith’s passing. The country singer-songwriter, who was battling stomach cancer, passed peacefully on Monday surrounded by his family.

Robyn remembered Toby Keith as a great American.

Others recalled his performance at the Orange Park Mall and the Ham Jam in Green Cove Springs.

“I saw him at the Orange Park Mall he was standing on a flat bed trailer,” one man said.

“We saw him at The Ham Jam maybe in 1997…” another said.

“My son got his autograph when he noticed that he was setting behind us at Jimmy Ricks hog heaven BBQ at the fair,” another said. “Super nice guy.”

Among his 20 No. 1 Billboard hits were “How Do You Like Me Now?!,” “Should’ve Been a Cowboy,” “As Good As I Once Was,” “My List” and “Beer for My Horses,” a duet with Willie Nelson.
