Five Suspects Arrested in Armed Burglary at Keystone RV Resort in Keystone Heights

Early Saturday morning, September 28, 2024, at approximately 3:25 AM, security at Keystone RV Resort in Keystone Heights, FL, alerted the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) Dispatch to several suspicious males observed on camera climbing a perimeter fence to enter the private community.

Deputies swiftly responded and discovered two getaway vehicles, one of which was stolen, staged just outside the resort where the suspects had been seen scaling the fence. A perimeter was quickly set up with assistance from additional BCSO deputies and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.

As law enforcement conducted a search, five suspects actively engaged in armed burglary were flushed out and attempted to flee by scaling the perimeter wall. The suspects, armed with four handguns, discarded their weapons as officers closed in. Four suspects were immediately detained, while one managed to re-enter the resort in an effort to evade capture. After an extensive search, the final suspect was located and taken into custody.

The suspects, including two juveniles, face charges of trespassing while armed, loitering and prowling, and armed burglary. Further charges are pending as the investigation continues.

The identified suspects are:

  • 18-year-old Jessie Barnes
  • 20-year-old Raymon Campbell
  • 19-year-old Jayden Manns
  • Two juveniles
