Lord had been evading authorities on charges of fleeing and eluding, as well as being linked to multiple drug seizure cases. As officers attempted to arrest him, Lord fled into his apartment but eventually emerged without incident. He was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant and charged with Trafficking in Fentanyl, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell, Fleeing and Eluding, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A search of his vehicle revealed several thousand dollars in cash.

Following the arrest, the POPD Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant on Lord’s apartment, uncovering additional narcotics and large sums of currency. Lord was transported to the county jail, where he remains held on a $48,000 bond, with further investigations ongoing.
