The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) is requesting assistance from the public to solve a homicide that occurred on November 2, 2022, in the Arlington area.
Officers responded to a shooting call in the 2900 block of Justina Road during the evening hours. Upon arrival, they discovered 23-year-old Gabriel John Devoe lying outside his vehicle in an apartment complex parking lot, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Medical personnel transported Devoe to a local hospital, but he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
JSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene Units launched an investigation, collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses. Despite their efforts, no suspects have been identified, and investigators are now seeking new leads to move the case forward.
