Collier County Gang Member Charged With Trafficking Enough Fentanyl to Kill Over 120,000

A 24-year-old documented gang member in Collier County, Ruuderston Scott Ashle Antoine, has been charged with three new counts of fentanyl trafficking. Detectives allege that Antoine sold 51.3 grams of fentanyl to undercover Collier County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) Vice and Narcotics Bureau detectives in May and June, an amount capable of potentially killing 25,650 people.

Antoine was already in custody following his July 12 arrest when detectives executed a search warrant at his Mitchell Street residence. That search uncovered 196.6 grams of fentanyl—enough to kill nearly 98,500 people—along with cocaine, marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, and a stolen AR-15 rifle.

“This individual’s arrest has removed a significant amount of fentanyl from our community,” Sheriff Kevin Rambosk said. “I am proud of our Vice and Narcotics detectives for their vigilance and commitment in combating this deadly opioid.”

Antoine, who remains in custody at the Collier County Jail, faces multiple felony charges, including fentanyl trafficking and weapons violations. His arrest is part of CCSO’s broader efforts to combat fentanyl under Sheriff Rambosk’s “Laced & Lethal” fentanyl awareness campaign, the most comprehensive safety initiative in the county’s history.
