Jacksonville Police Seek Information in 2017 Homicide Case

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in solving a 2017 homicide that left one man dead and another injured. The incident occurred on Thursday, January 26, 2017, in the 10300 block of Agave Road when officers responded to reports of multiple people shot.

Upon arrival, police found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Maurice Hobbs, an 18-year-old white male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
