Orlando Woman Brutally Attacked in Home Invasion, Suspect Arrested

On January 31, 2025, at approximately 1:46 p.m., Orlando police responded to a home invasion at 2315 Caribbean Court. The victim’s husband arrived home to find his elderly wife severely battered inside their vehicle in the garage, pressing the horn for help. He immediately called 911, reporting that an unknown Black male had forcibly entered their home and attacked his wife. She was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she remains in critical condition.

Detectives identified the suspect as 55-year-old Ronald D. Davis, who was found sleeping inside a shed a few miles from the victim’s residence. Davis had recently been released from prison in June 2024 after serving a 15-year concurrent sentence for Burglary of a Dwelling with Assault and Battery, as well as Robbery.

Davis has been charged with Home Invasion Robbery with a Weapon, Aggravated Battery on a Person Over 65 with Great Bodily Harm, and Aggravated Battery with a Weapon.
