Undercover Investigation Leads to Prostitution Arrest at Port Charlotte Aroma Therapy Business

A woman claiming to provide aroma therapy services in Port Charlotte was arrested for prostitution following an undercover investigation by the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit.

The business, “Honey Bee – The Scent Shop,” located at 795 Crestview Circle NW, was being investigated after detectives received multiple tips about illicit activities occurring inside. During their inquiry, detectives found a website featuring images of multiple young women and a schedule indicating who would be working on specific days.

To verify the allegations, an undercover deputy scheduled an appointment at the business. Upon arrival, the deputy was greeted by a woman who introduced herself as “Diamond,” later identified as Katherine R. Geuther (10/31/2003). Geuther led the deputy to a small room containing a massage table and desk, explaining the pricing for 30-minute and 60-minute sessions.

After briefly leaving the room, Geuther returned and immediately removed her clothing, attempting to engage in sex acts with the undercover deputy. The detective declined and exited the room. Geuther was then placed under arrest for soliciting prostitution.

“These disgusting acts are not welcome in Charlotte County, and we will continue to combat them as we learn they are happening. Thank you to the several people who provided tips about what was really going on here. It is so great to serve in a community that cares and wants this type of garbage cleaned up. Sometimes that means we have to be the Charlotte County Sanitation Department, and that’s OK as long as we get the outcome that’s best for our community,” said Sheriff Bill Prummell.

Geuther was transported to the Charlotte County Jail and has since bonded out.
