Northwest Jacksonville Drug House Shut Down; Two Arrested

Acting on a community tip, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) Narcotics Team, SWAT Team, and Districts 5 & 6 Task Force Officers executed a search warrant on a suspected drug house on Prince Street in Northwest Jacksonville earlier this week, resulting in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of a significant quantity of illegal narcotics and firearms.

The search yielded the following:

  • 138.1 grams of Crack Cocaine
  • 61.9 grams of Powder Cocaine
  • 316.1 grams of MDMA
  • 166.2 grams of Diphenxprolinol
  • 79.7 grams of Marijuana
  • 1 Pistol
  • 1 Rifle
  • $350 in Cash

Two suspects, Lavon Sirmons, 53, and Christopher Miller, 49, were arrested and are currently being held in the Duval County Jail, facing felony drug charges.

The JSO emphasized that this bust was a direct result of community cooperation and sent a clear message to drug dealers in the area: “Dealers – we are watching, and we are coming for you.”

The public is encouraged to report any suspected illegal drug activity in their neighborhoods by calling 904.630.0500.
