Citrus County Sheriff Investigates String of Unlocked Vehicle Burglaries and Theft in Crystal River

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is currently investigating a series of six vehicle burglaries and one vehicle theft that occurred in the early morning hours of May 17th, between 3:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., in the area of North Fox Meadow Terrace and West Meadowpark Lane in Crystal River.

Investigators noted that all of the vehicles involved were reported to have been left unlocked at the time of the burglaries. The primary items stolen include guns, cash, and credit cards.
