Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Crash with SUV in Port Orange

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at approximately 3:04 p.m., officers with the Port Orange Police Department responded to a serious motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV at the intersection of northbound Nova Road and Herbert Street.

Upon arrival, first responders located the motorcyclist, who was critically injured. The individual was transported to Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach for emergency treatment. The driver of the SUV reported no injuries at the scene.

Port Orange Police Traffic Homicide Investigators are actively investigating the circumstances of the collision. The identities of the involved individuals are being withheld pending notification of next of kin and further investigation.
