Port St. Lucie Business Investigated for Vehicle Cloning Scheme; Two Arrested

The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a vehicle fraud and theft operation linked to a local business, Drizzle Drip Mobile Detailing, LLC. Authorities believe the business may be involved in a vehicle cloning scheme in which multiple vehicles were fraudulently registered using falsified information to conceal their true identities.

On June 17, 2025, deputies executed a court-authorized search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Eyerly Avenue in Port St. Lucie. Investigators recovered several items of evidentiary value, including five vehicles. One of the vehicles was determined to be cloned; its true identification number matched a vehicle reported stolen to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in July 2024.

The investigation has since expanded beyond St. Lucie County. The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office also executed related search warrants as part of a multi-agency operation to uncover the extent of the fraudulent activity.

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the case. Cortez Rashad Ash, 33, and Josuaire Pierre, 33, both of Port St. Lucie, are charged with Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle.

Authorities are urging anyone who may have purchased a vehicle from Drizzle Drip Mobile Detailing, LLC or from the suspects to contact the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office at (772) 462-7300 or reach out directly to Detective Jay Carver at Carverj@stluciesheriff.com.

This remains an active and ongoing investigation.
