Second Arrest Made in Deadly Jacksonville Restaurant Parking Lot Shooting

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has announced a second arrest in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred in June in a restaurant parking lot at the intersection of Southside Boulevard and Touchton Road.

The victim, 38-year-old Kenneth Mobley, was killed just days before his 39th birthday. Detectives quickly identified 24-year-old Josiah Martinez as the gunman. Martinez was arrested last month and remains in the Duval County jail, charged with Murder.

Further investigation revealed that Martinez did not act alone. Detectives connected 24-year-old Natania Ribot as the driver of the vehicle Martinez used to flee the scene.

Earlier this week, detectives interviewed Ribot and arrested her for Accessory After the Fact, a felony charge. She is currently being held in the Duval County jail.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue efforts to secure justice for the victim.
