The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Kamala Singleton, 39, on charges of attempted first-degree murder following a stabbing incident in Hastings, FL.
On November 7th, 2025, deputies responded to a home on Reno Street after a report of a stabbing. Investigators determined that Singleton arrived at the residence armed with a knife and confronted the victim. During the altercation, she stabbed the victim multiple times before leaving the scene.
Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Singleton, who later turned herself in. She is being held without bond.
The victim was airlifted to a local hospital, underwent emergency surgery, and is expected to recover. The case remains under investigation.
