Port St. Lucie police had a busy weekend bringing two couples in for very different crimes.
The first pair, 56-year-old Rosema Isaac and her 39-year-old boyfriend Logard Thilus, were arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor after hosting an Airbnb rental party on the 500 block of Kilpatrick Avenue Saturday night. Officers responded to multiple disturbance calls and found over 200 juveniles at the open house party. Investigators determined that Isaac and Thilus were aware underage drinking was taking place and even charged a cover fee for entry. Both were taken to the St. Lucie County Jail.
Meanwhile, another couple from Michigan, 30-year-old Heather Walden and 23-year-old Steven Walden, were arrested Friday night in the Walmart parking lot for theft. They had stolen Marvel’s Spider-Man Collector Omega Booster cards valued at $574.14. The pair was traveling in an RV with their two cats, who were taken safely to animal control. Records also revealed that both had active, though non-extraditable, shoplifting and fraud warrants in Michigan. Heather and Steven were also transported to St. Lucie County Jail.
Police noted that while it’s not the typical “double date,” the weekend showed that couples who commit crimes together, do time together.
