JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Three men are facing multiple criminal charges after investigators say they stole large quantities of energy drinks from stores across Jacksonville, a crime spree brought to an end through patrol work and public tips.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, District 2 Patrol and Task Force officers identified the suspects through a series of theft investigations aided by tips submitted to the agency’s Unsolved Crimes page.
The most recent arrest occurred on October 24, 2025, after officers responded to a grocery store on Atlantic Boulevard. An employee reported that 21 packs of energy drinks had been stolen. Officers quickly located and arrested David Bishop, 50. Investigators later determined Bishop had been committing similar thefts for months after his release from prison in June.
Bishop’s arrest completed the investigation into what authorities described as a small theft ring. The first suspect, 35-year-old Robert Senior, was arrested on October 2. Less than three weeks later, a tip from First Coast Crime Stoppers led to the arrest of 37-year-old James Perry.
Each of the three men, dubbed the “Red Bull Bandits” by investigators, is now facing multiple charges related to the thefts. Sheriff’s Office officials credited proactive patrol work and community cooperation for helping identify and apprehend all three suspects.
Authorities did not release the total value of the stolen merchandise but said the investigation showed a consistent pattern of thefts across multiple locations.
