Woman Arrested For Murder In Domestic Shooting In Orange Park

ORANGE PARK, Florida – The Clay County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 33-year-old woman in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in Orange Park.

According to investigators, deputies responded around 5:15 a.m. on March 15, 2026, to the 400 block of Gano Court. Following an extensive investigation, detectives determined the incident was domestic in nature.

Authorities identified the suspect as Jasmine Brown and the victim as 30-year-old Kerbisson Sion. The two were married but were living separately at the time of the incident.

Investigators say Brown arrived at Sion’s residence during the early morning hours, where an altercation occurred between the two. During the confrontation, Sion was shot and killed.

Detectives believe the incident was isolated between the individuals involved and said there is no threat to the public.

With assistance from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, Brown was later located at an apartment complex on Sunbeam Road in Jacksonville. She agreed to return to Clay County, where she was taken into custody and charged with Second Degree Murder.
