Middleburg Man Arrested After Child Exploitation Investigation, Deputies Say

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — A Middleburg man has been arrested following a child exploitation investigation led by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, according to officials.

On April 16, 2026, the sheriff’s office SWAT team executed a search warrant at a residence on Orchid Avenue after detectives received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The investigation was conducted by the sheriff’s office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, with assistance from the North Florida INTERCEPT Task Force and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service.

During the search, investigators said they discovered child sexual abuse material, including computer-generated content.

Authorities detained the occupants of the residence without incident and conducted interviews while processing the scene for evidence.

As a result of the investigation, 39-year-old Tracy Dean Burke was arrested and charged with 10 counts of knowingly possessing and intentionally viewing child sexual abuse material.

Burke was booked into the Clay County Jail.

Officials said the investigation remains ongoing.
