Two People Stabbed in Holly Hill Apartment; Police Investigating Possible Domestic Dispute

HOLLY HILL, Fla. – Two people were hospitalized Monday after a stabbing at a Holly Hill apartment, including a man who remains in critical condition, according to the Holly Hill Police Department.

Officers responded at approximately 12:54 p.m. on July 27 to a reported stabbing at an apartment in the 900 block of 15th Street.

When officers arrived, they found an adult woman covered in blood and crying hysterically. Officers immediately rendered aid until emergency medical personnel arrived.

The woman was transported to a local hospital, where she was listed in fair condition.

Investigators initially were unable to locate the male victim at the scene. They later determined he had been taken by private vehicle to Halifax Health Medical Center, where he was admitted as a trauma alert. Police said he remains in critical condition.

Detectives are working with the Daytona Beach Police Department and the Volusia County Crime Scene Investigations Unit to process multiple crime scenes in both Holly Hill and Daytona Beach.

According to preliminary findings, investigators believe the incident may have stemmed from an argument involving alleged infidelity. Police cautioned that the information is preliminary and could change as the investigation progresses.

No arrests have been announced, and authorities have not released the identities of those involved.

The investigation remains ongoing.
