The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) has announced the arrest of Frederick Delgado, 32, of Key Largo, on 15 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material. Delgado’s arrest is part of a statewide initiative by FDLE to locate and apprehend individuals targeting children and sharing files depicting their sexual abuse.
The investigation commenced in March 2025 when FDLE agents received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) concerning a Discord user sharing such illicit content.
On April 23, FDLE agents, analysts, and members of the FDLE Special Operations Team, with assistance from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant. They seized multiple electronic devices for digital forensic analysis.
Following the search warrant, Delgado left Monroe County, Florida, and was subsequently located in Longview, East Texas.
Delgado was arrested on July 9 by the Longview Police Department and transported to the Gregg County Jail. He will be extradited back to Monroe County, Florida, to face charges.
The Office of the State Attorney, 16th Judicial Circuit, is prosecuting the case.
