On August 17, 2025, Officer Rich conducted a traffic stop at 5 3rd Street North in Macclenny for a stop sign violation.
During the investigation, officers recovered three firearms, including an AR-style pistol. Two of the firearms were confirmed stolen out of Jacksonville more than two years ago. Officers also located marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, and cash.
The driver, identified as Mr. Fountain, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana Less Than 20 Grams, and Driving While License Suspended. The passenger, Mr. Bartley, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana Less Than 20 Grams.
All firearms were seized and placed into evidence.
