Jacksonville, FL – On August 27, 2025, Dannel Larkins, 21, was arrested in connection with the murder of 31-year-old Kenneth Glover Jr. and two other homicide cases in Jacksonville.
On December 1, 2023, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) Patrol officers discovered Glover lying in a parking lot near A. Philip Randolph Boulevard, having been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the incident, detectives from the Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit launched a thorough investigation, reviewing evidence and developing leads. Their efforts identified Larkins as the suspect in Glover’s murder. At the time of this arrest, Larkins was already in Duval County Jail.
Larkins is also charged in the murders of 43-year-old Valondia Norris in April 2024 and 7-year-old Breon Allen in January 2025.
JSO emphasized its commitment to holding violent offenders accountable, working closely with the State Attorney’s Office to ensure that Larkins faces justice for all three killings.
No further details regarding motive or additional suspects have been released as the investigation continues.
