Yulee Little League President Arrested for Stealing Over $94,000

YULEE, Fla.—The president of the Yulee Little League (YLL) has been arrested and charged with theft and fraud after an investigation revealed he stole more than $94,000 from the youth sports organization.

William Harold Reynolds III, 39, was arrested on Thursday by the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office. The league’s Vice President contacted law enforcement in May after the board discovered financial irregularities, alleging Reynolds had used league funds for personal, unauthorized purchases.

Investigators found that Reynolds had repeatedly used the YLL’s debit card for personal spending totaling over $94,000 since January 1, 2024. Among the unauthorized purchases were nearly $13,000 for Amazon and Prime Video, over $3,000 at gas stations, and more than $4,000 at restaurants.

“It’s shameful to steal from children,” said Sheriff Bill Leeper. “Little leagues help make kids’ dreams a reality.”

Reynolds was booked into the Nassau County Jail & Detention Center with a bond set at over $30,000.
