Repeat Offender Arrested with Meth During Palm Coast Traffic Stop

PALM COAST, Fla. – Flagler County deputies arrested a repeat offender Friday evening after discovering narcotics during a traffic stop in Palm Coast, FL.

According to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, a detective with the Problem Area Crime Enforcement Unit initiated a stop on a vehicle on Pine Grove Drive on March 20, 2026, after observing multiple traffic violations.

As the vehicle pulled over, the detective noticed the front passenger moving around near the floorboard. Deputies made contact with the three occupants and asked them to exit the vehicle so a K-9 unit could conduct a free-air sniff.

While the occupants were exiting, deputies observed paraphernalia commonly used to roll marijuana on the floorboard.

The front passenger, identified as 41-year-old Adam Jordan of Bunnell, informed deputies he had a pocketknife. During a search for officer safety, deputies located a case and a small plastic bag in his pocket, both containing methamphetamine.

A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of additional methamphetamine, a scale, and multiple small plastic bags.

Jordan was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of marijuana (20 grams or less), and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility, where he is being held without bond.

Authorities said Jordan was out on bond at the time of his arrest for a separate case involving possession of fentanyl, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. That bond has since been revoked.

The Sheriff’s Office said Jordan has an extensive criminal history, including more than 20 prior arrests and previous prison time for drug-related and violent offenses.
