INTERLACHEN, Fla. – Three people have been arrested in connection with a violent home invasion robbery in which investigators say a homeowner was beaten unconscious with his own shotgun and left with severe facial injuries.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrests of Tyler Keller, 22, of Hawthorne, and siblings Stacy Oliver, 23, and Saniyah Oliver, 22, both of Interlachen.
According to investigators, the home invasion occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. on July 18 at a residence on Pine Drive in Interlachen.
The victim told deputies he had cleaned his shotgun the night before and left it in the living room. He awoke after a light was turned on in his bedroom and found a hooded man pointing the shotgun at his face.
The victim said he also saw Stacy Oliver standing next to his girlfriend.
Investigators said the victim lunged for the shotgun, triggering a physical struggle. During the confrontation, he was struck and knocked unconscious.
While the victim was unconscious, the suspects allegedly threatened his girlfriend, warning they would harm the victim’s family if law enforcement was contacted.
Authorities said Saniyah Oliver then walked onto the front porch and threatened a witness who was attempting to call for help, telling him to drop his phone or she would shoot him. The witness fled after she returned inside the residence.
When the victim regained consciousness, he discovered his shotgun, vehicle keys and cash had been stolen.
Because of the threats made against his family, the victim did not immediately report the crime to law enforcement. Later that day, his girlfriend took him to a hospital, where doctors told him his face had been severely fractured and that he would require surgery.
The incident was reported to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office four days later.
During the investigation, the victim told detectives that a friend showed him a video in which Tyler Keller allegedly bragged about beating him.
Detectives later linked Keller to Stacy Oliver after learning the two had attended high school together.
On July 27, detectives interviewed Stacy Oliver, who admitted picking up Keller at the request of his sister, Saniyah Oliver, according to investigators.
Following the interview, Stacy Oliver was arrested and charged with Home Invasion Robbery and Aggravated Battery. He was booked into the Putnam County Jail and is being held without bond.
Later that day, Saniyah Oliver surrendered to deputies. She was charged with Home Invasion Robbery, Aggravated Assault and Accessory to a First-Degree Felony. She is also being held without bond.
On July 28, the victim located Keller and drove him to the sheriff’s office. After being interviewed by detectives, Keller was arrested and charged with Home Invasion Robbery and Aggravated Battery.
He was booked into the Putnam County Jail and remains held without bond.
The investigation remains ongoing.
