ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands – A man wanted in connection with the June killing of 23-year-old Asani Henry in St. Thomas has been captured in Orange County, Florida, after authorities say he fled the U.S. Virgin Islands two days after the homicide.

Jah’Sheem Graham was arrested Sept. 28 by members of the U.S. Marshals Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office felony team.

Graham is wanted by the Virgin Islands Police Department on a charge of aiding and abetting first-degree murder in Henry’s death.

Authorities said Henry was killed June 16 in the Hospital Ground area of St. Thomas. Graham and another person are accused in connection with the killing, although authorities did not provide details about Graham’s alleged role or identify the other suspect in the information released.

Investigators said Graham left the Virgin Islands on June 18, two days after Henry’s death.

On Sept. 23, the Virgin Islands Police Department requested assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force in locating and apprehending him.

VIPD detectives and U.S. Marshals investigators developed information indicating Graham could be in the Orlando area.

Five days later, task force members and Orange County deputies located Graham outside an apartment building in Orange County. He was arrested without incident, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
