Rain continues Christmas night into Tuesday with locally heavy rain possible near and along I-75 and southeast Georgia. Much colder conditions are expected late next week and the upcoming weekend.

Christmas Day: Rounds of rain under cloudy skies with warmer than average afternoon highs. Scattered showers are expected through sunrise followed by rounds of rain during the afternoon through the evening, 60-80 percent. Isolated thunderstorms are possible. Lows in the upper 50s and 60s. Highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Rain chances continue overnight.
Tuesday: Rain and isolated thunderstorms, some locally heavy early then turning to showers through the day. Warmer than average temperature continue. Wake up temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s. Afternoon highs in the low 70s. Showers under cloudy skies will dissipate through late Tuesday night then clearing Wednesday.
Hazards: Minor to moderate flooding continues along the St. Marys and Santa Fe Rivers. Rip Currents through the weekend. Christmas Day travel will include rain and storms.
Looking ahead: Rain through early Tuesday followed by scattered showers. Cooler and drier weather returns late next week.
