This morning showers and thunderstorms will become widespread where the strongest storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rainfall through 10 AM.
Rainfall amounts could be between a quarter to a half of an inch of rain.
The line of storms will quickly push through our area and by lunch time most of us will be dry with the exception of a pop-up shower in the afternoon.
Afternoon highs will top out in the mid to upper 70s today with winds from the south between 15-20 mph with gusts as high as 35 MPH.
SUNDAY: Overnight temperatures will drop into the mid to upper 40s region wide under partly cloudy skies with winds from the south at 5-10 MPH.
Afternoon highs will drop back down into the upper 50s and 60s under partly cloudy skies with winds from the north at 10-15 MPH.
REST OF THE WEEK: Storm chances return to kick off the week Monday and Tuesday where on Tuesday there is a better chance for strong to severe storms.
