Tallahassee Police Arrest Multiple Suspects, Seize Large Quantities of Drugs and Firearms

The Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) has made several significant arrests following investigations into drug trafficking and associated criminal activities. A series of search warrants executed over the past two months resulted in the seizure of large quantities of narcotics, firearms, and cash, with a focus on reducing the flow of illegal drugs into the community. TPD urges the public to report any suspicious activities or drug-related information.

Arrestee: Cameron White, 37

  • Location: 5000 block of Lakefront Drive

    TPD’s Special Investigations Section initiated an investigation into Cameron White after receiving tips about drug trafficking in the Tallahassee area. White was suspected of selling heroin, MDMA, and various prescription drugs. On December 4, 2024, TPD’s Special Investigations Unit and Violent Crime Response Team executed a search warrant at White’s residence. Authorities uncovered a large cache of illegal substances, including 113.7 grams of heroin, 124.4 grams of MDMA, and 140.4 grams of psilocybin mushrooms. Additionally, nine firearms, including three AK-47s, a shotgun, and five handguns, were recovered. White was also found in possession of over $3,600 in cash. He is facing multiple charges, including trafficking in various drugs and firearms offenses.

Arrestees: Pedro Cornet, 30, and Iosif Rojas, 21

    On December 6, 2024, following a lengthy investigation, TPD executed a search warrant at Pedro Cornet’s residence. Information had been gathered linking Cornet and his co-conspirator Iosif Rojas to the trafficking of MDMA in the Tallahassee area. The search yielded 441 grams of cannabis, 146 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, and 12.4 grams of MDMA. The officers also found 16 high-THC vape cartridges, 3.8 grams of cocaine, and approximately $2,900 in cash. Cornet had been out on bond for a previous trafficking charge and still faced multiple charges from an arrest in June 2024, where over two pounds of MDMA and numerous firearms were seized.

  • Summary:
    Gregory Martin, who had an outstanding arrest warrant for felony theft, was taken into custody after detectives observed him at his residence on December 13, 2024. Following his arrest, a search warrant was executed at Martin’s home, revealing a significant amount of illegal substances and firearms. Police recovered 47 grams of synthetic cathinone, 15 grams of methamphetamine, and 3.6 grams of fentanyl. Martin was also found in possession of a stolen Glock 17 equipped with a “Glock switch,” a device that converts the firearm to automatic fire. In addition, police found a .300 blackout rifle and a machine gun.

Arrestee: Ermias Kahassai, 25

  • Summary:
    On December 17, 2024, TPD responded to a report from an employee at a storage facility regarding a large amount of marijuana found in an unrented storage unit. During the investigation, authorities determined that Ermias Kahassai had recently moved items from another unit into the vacant one. Upon obtaining a search warrant, TPD found 30 pounds of marijuana and $3,900 in cash in the unit. When Kahassai returned to the facility, he was observed carrying a suitcase, which contained an additional nine pounds of marijuana.

Arrestee: Jaquez Harris, 25

  • Summary:
    On January 14, 2025, while responding to a call at a neighboring apartment, TPD officers observed Jaquez Harris throwing narcotics and drug-related materials out of a rear window. A search warrant was obtained, and the subsequent search revealed 58 prepackaged bags of synthetic cathinone, weighing a total of 14.7 grams. Officers also recovered multiple rounds of ammunition and a firearm from the scene.

Arrestee: Curtis Battle, 37

  • Location: 2200 block of Hartsfield Way

    • Possession of Marijuana (more than 20 grams)

    On January 15, 2025, following a detailed investigation into Curtis Battle’s drug activities, TPD executed a search of his residence. Authorities discovered over 200 grams of heroin, 30 grams of cocaine, 206.2 grams of Oxycodone (suspected pressed fentanyl), and large quantities of marijuana and synthetic cathinones. Battle was also found in possession of a large sum of cash, totaling $15,036. He is facing multiple charges related to trafficking and firearm offenses.
