APOPKA, Fla.—Two men have been arrested and charged with multiple counts of burglary and grand theft following an increase in construction site burglaries in the city.
Apopka Police Detectives, who were conducting surveillance at various construction sites, apprehended Jose Gimenes-Autna and Pedro Quihua-Jimenez in the act of stealing 27 rolls of roofing material.
Both men were charged with three counts each of 3rd Degree Grand Theft from a Construction Site and four counts each of Burglary from an Unoccupied Structure.
