QUINCY, Fla. — A 19-year-old man has been arrested following a multi-agency human trafficking operation targeting online exploitation in the Tallahassee area.
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Craig Kristian Pringle of Gadsden County was charged with attempted human trafficking for commercial sexual activity, use of a computer to solicit a minor and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
Investigators said the charges stem from Operation Cupid’s Cleanup, a four-day initiative focused on disrupting human trafficking activity.
During the investigation, authorities said Pringle attempted to solicit nude images from an investigator who was posing as a minor.
On April 8, FDLE agents, working alongside the U.S. Marshals Service North Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force, arrested Pringle at his residence in Quincy.
He was transported to the Leon County Jail.
Officials said Operation Cupid’s Cleanup involved coordination between multiple agencies, including the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, Tallahassee Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations.
The case is being prosecuted by the State Attorney’s Office of the Second Judicial Circuit.
The investigation remains ongoing.
