ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. — Detectives with the Atlantic Beach Police Department seized a large quantity of suspected illegal narcotics during a search warrant operation tied to an ongoing drug investigation.
According to police, detectives assigned to the department’s Crime Suppression Unit executed the warrant at a residence within the city as part of a continuing narcotics investigation.
Authorities said the investigation resulted in multiple trafficking and drug-related charges involving several types of narcotics.
Investigators reported seizing approximately 76 grams of cocaine, 236 grams of amphetamines, 22 grams of phenethylamines, 18 grams of MDMA, and 35 grams of ketamine.
Police also seized an additional suspected 91 grams of MDMA that has been submitted for laboratory testing.
Authorities said detectives additionally recovered approximately four grams of psilocybin mushrooms, less than 20 grams of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Charges connected to the investigation include Trafficking Cocaine, Trafficking Amphetamines, Trafficking Phenethylamines, Trafficking MDMA, Trafficking Synthetic Narcotics, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Maintaining a Nuisance Drug House, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Police said the case highlights proactive enforcement efforts aimed at reducing narcotics activity and removing dangerous drugs from the community.
