Investigators with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit, alongside with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, concluded a 3-month long investigation regarding several sex crimes committed by 32-year-old Jeremiah Paul Grover.
Grover worked as a Worship Leader for Elevate Life Church in Oakleaf Plantation and has been arrested on several charges.
Detectives in the Special Victims Unit launched an investigation in early June of 2024, regarding alleged criminal sexual activities that happened between March and June of this year. Grover was involved with a 16- year-old juvenile, who was also a member of the suspect’s church. Grover traveled and met with the minor in both Clay and Duval counties and engaged in sexual criminal conduct.
Jeremiah Paul Grover has been arrested for unlawful sexual activity with a minor, traveling to meet a minor, lewd and lascivious touching, and transmission of harmful material to minors. His bond is set at $325,015.
At this time, investigators believe this is an isolated incident and do not believe there are any other victims.
