Jacksonville Drug Bust Uncovers Over 1.5 Kilos of Cocaine, Fentanyl, and Firearms

Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) Narcotics detectives and District 5 patrol officers conducted a major drug bust last week following a domestic dispute call on Thomas Street off McDuff Avenue South.

Patrol officers arriving at the scene observed a large quantity of drugs in plain view and immediately contacted Narcotics detectives. A search of the residence led to the discovery of a significant drug stash and multiple firearms.

Charles Lang, a 32-year-old convicted felon, was arrested and charged with nine felonies, including trafficking fentanyl, cocaine, and ecstasy.

Seized Items:

  • 17.7 grams of fentanyl
  • 1,661.8 grams (1.5+ kilos) of cocaine
  • 71.5 grams of ecstasy
  • 18.5 grams of oxycodone pills
  • 435.6 grams of marijuana
  • 6 firearms (including one stolen gun)
  • 2 fully automatic switches
  • $2,759 in cash

Lang remains in custody as the investigation continues.
