OCOEE, FL — An 18-year-old Ocoee High School student was arrested on campus this week following a four-month investigation into the distribution of illegal digital content via social media. Antonio Brantley was taken into custody by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) on April 13, 2026, and charged with two counts of possession of child sexual abuse material.
The probe originated in December 2025 after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) issued a “cybertip” to state authorities. The report indicated that an account on the instant-messaging application Kik was being used to upload, view, and store files depicting the sexual abuse of minors. Specialized cybercrime agents eventually traced the account and associated email address directly to Brantley.
On Monday morning, FDLE Cybercrime Task Force agents executed a search warrant for Brantley’s person and his immediate surroundings at Ocoee High School. During the operation, investigators seized his cellphone for forensic review. Officials emphasized that while the warrant was served at the school, the investigation was unrelated to school operations and did not impact other students.
Following his arrest, Brantley was transported to the Orange County Jail. He has since filed a waiver of arraignment and entered a written plea of not guilty. As a condition of his legal proceedings, he has been ordered to have no access to the internet and no contact with any person under the age of 18.
The arrest is part of a broader, statewide initiative by the FDLE to aggressively target individuals who utilize digital platforms to share exploitation material. The case is being handled by Attorney General James Uthmeier’s Office of Statewide Prosecution.
While Brantley currently faces two third-degree felony counts, investigators noted that the case remains active. Additional charges are possible as digital forensic experts continue to conduct an in-depth analysis of the seized device.
