CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. — Two coordinated drug investigations in Citrus County resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of narcotics, including fentanyl and methamphetamine, following operations conducted by the Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit and federal partners, authorities said.
The first operation took place April 22nd at a residence on S. Briarwood Terrace in Homosassa, where investigators executed a search warrant after receiving information about ongoing drug activity. When occupants did not respond to commands to exit, SWAT members entered the home and located five individuals on the property. All were detained without incident.
During the search, detectives found fentanyl, methamphetamine, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia inside the residence and surrounding structures. All five individuals were arrested on charges ranging from possession of controlled substances to possession of drug paraphernalia.
The five arrested were identified as 35-year-old Donna Marie Fonseca, 55-year-old David Allen Resch, 36-year-old Jessica Lillian Myers, 27-year-old Richard James Burke and 46-year-old Joshua Brandon Gober.
A second operation on April 23rd targeted a home on Seminole Avenue in Inverness and marked the conclusion of a months-long investigation into a drug trafficking network operating in Citrus County. Detectives worked alongside the Drug Enforcement Administration to execute a search warrant at the residence.
Authorities said individuals inside the home were detained safely, including two suspects who had active warrants related to trafficking large quantities of methamphetamine. Investigators located cocaine and additional paraphernalia associated with drug trafficking.
Four individuals were arrested in connection with the second investigation, all facing trafficking-related charges. They were identified as 60-year-old Dwann Dimitrius Ross, 27-year-old Melissa Ann Staklinski, 58-year-old Benny Lee Rome and 30-year-old Kelvin Antonio Parks.

Officials said the two operations addressed locations linked to ongoing drug activity and resulted in the removal of narcotics from the community. The investigations were carried out by the Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit with assistance from SWAT and federal partners.
