Jacksonville Police Seek Woman Accused of Stealing More Than $1,000 in Fragrance Testers

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying a woman accused of stealing more than $1,000 worth of fragrance testers from a cosmetics store on San Jose Boulevard.

Police said the theft occurred Wednesday, Sept. 2, when the woman entered the store and began collecting fragrance testers.

Investigators said she took merchandise valued at more than $1,000 before leaving the business without paying.

JSO released information about the case as part of an effort to identify the woman. The department did not name the cosmetics store or provide a more specific location along San Jose Boulevard.

Authorities also did not disclose how many fragrance testers were taken or whether a vehicle was involved.
